The Ruins of Mwangi
Step 1: Ability Scores
To put all players on an even footing we will be using a fixed array of ability scores for each character created. The player can assign each score to the ability of his/her choosing. Racial modifiers are then applied.
17, 16, 15, 13, 12, 10
Step 2: Race and Class
All races and classes from the Pathfinder RPG Core Rulebook are allowed. Humans may be of any decent.
Step 3: Hit Points
All characters will begin play with max hit points at first level. Thereafter when leveling the player will gain 3/4 of their hit die. For example, a d4 hit die would net 3 hit points whereas a d10 would net 7 hit points.
Step 4: Skills, Feats, Equipment, Spells
Players may choose any skills, feats, equipment, and spells from the following sources: Pathfinder RPG Core Rulebook and the Pathfinder Chronicles Campaign Setting. The Leadership feat is only available with GM approval.
Each character will begin play with 500 gold and a wayfinder.
Aura faint evocation; CL 5th
Slot none; Price 500gp; Weight 1 lb.
Description A small magical device patterned off ancient relics of the Azlanti, a wayfinder is typically made from silver and bears gold accents. With a command word, you can use a wayfinder to shine (as the light spell). The wayfinder also acts as a nonmagical (magnetic) compass, granting you a +2 circumstance bonus on Survival checks to avoid becoming lost. All wayfinders include a small indentation designed to hold a single ioun stone. An ioun stone slotted in this manner grants you its normal benefits (as if it were orbiting your head), but frequently reveals entirely new powers due to the magic of the wayfinder itself.
Step 5: Prestige Classes
All prestige classes from the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Corebook are available.
Step 6: Alignment
Characters may choose any alignment with the exception of Chaotic Neutral, Neutral Evil and Chaotic Evil. Moral dilemmas within the party are expected when mixing different alignments, however, this is not an excuse for inter-party conflict and will not be tolerated.
